One issue is Everton has been the king of ties, but that was common before Martinez too. There was just far less goals associated with those ties

This year is worse though, 6 wins?!?! Hell Chelsea has more than that. Actually, only the bottom three in the table have less.

Martinez has done such a great job in bringing in talent that the expectations are high and you can see the potential this team has during parts of the games. It was too long ago we would get outclassed in several games a year. I don't think that is the case anymore, but winning is far better than consistently looking good.
