Yeah because 2011 sure couldn't move the ball. Good WR play = good QB play. Alabama had a horrible QB last year but had one real WR threat on the outside that opened up the entire offense.

ALabama had a quarterback last year that completed 64.5% of his passes, threw for 3487 yards, 28 touchdowns, and averaged 249.1 passing yards a game.... if that is horrible I will take it every year.
(also 350 yards 7 TD rushing 4.2 YPC)

My man, you've just got it backwards. You're mistaking correlation for causation.
Is there a correlation between good QB play and WR effectiveness? Of course, the two are linked.
But does good WR play CAUSE good QB play? No.
In fact, I'd argue the opposite - that it's far more probable that good QB play causes good WR play.
