Given your situation, probably legally supervising, playing insurance bitch, or doing something else that comes along with taking care of a pharmacy. Probably aren't compounding what you need, or anything if you didn't know it ahead of time.
Feel free to press the issue if your 3 year old is screaming anywhere, although you shouldn't have to.

Wife has her at home.....no way I'm coming to a pharmacy with a sick kid to wait.
