I get what you are saying but we can't always expect someone who doesn't have any clue on how to do financial planning to do it. Just like a job, it takes training. My parents took the time to teach me. Someone has to step up and take the initiative.

If you're too stupid to do basic math, then I don't think that can be taught. Yes, she clearly had shitty parents, because she's a selfish spoiled bimbo who has never had to work a single day of her life.

There is something much more fundamental missing here. Blaming this on a lack of financial education is absurd.
