Its what he wants! Understand, this has very little to do with a "better" qb.

Then why were 2005, 2006, and 2013 three of the best passing years in LSU history?

I hope he does return at some point, however I do want Harris to be given a chance to run this team (i.e. getting all the first team reps) and the thread title made me think Jennings was back already meaning they would split reps in preseason practice.

Not gonna happen. Miles specifically addressed this yesterday and always talks about competition at the QB spot. I think it's pretty safe to say that Jennings is going to be back before camp starts.

Probably a safe assumption.

depressing that our coach is so incapable when it comes to the most position on the field. incapable of developing a modern philosophy, incapable of recruiting QB's that fit his scheme, incapable of hiring coaches who can develop QB's, incapable of developing QB's, and hard-headed as they come on top of it all.

the pattern is extremely set, and all we can do is hope 2015 goes against that horrible pattern.

I sure as shite hope so.

I want Harris to start, too. But we will need AJ at some point this season and he NEEDS to develop as well.

Unless Harris surprises the crap out of me, he is not built to play every down in the SEC with his slight frame. I'm rooting for AJ to come back from this and develop, even if just from a depth perspective.

Because they were technically sound qb's and in control of our offense.

AJ is not of that caliber. He's just not good at passing or management of the offense or game, including his ability to read coverage as it changes.

So in Miles head he would rather stay with a guy he knows he can totally control, than go with another guy like BH. He thought by doing this it would lessen loses, yet we lose 4 and still didn't let the real talent learn.

Rewind and repeat.

I'm not liberal. I know this because I work and I font spend more than my set amount. I plan ahead using my money only. I rely on the government for nothing free.

Whatever that makes me, deal with it
