Lack of DT depth is still enticing. We'll lose LaCouture and likely Godchaux next year. We will lose Thomas this year including the 3 we already lost in the offseason. That leaves Herron and Gilmore as the only two scholarship DTs on the roster right now, that would be here in 2017.
We will only have 4 scholarship DTs next year before the class gets here, and Bain has been moved to DE. Now he might get pushed back to DT, but that is not a given.
We have so far Logan and Alexander as DTs for the 2016 class, but we need two more IMO. Taylor and Lawrence for DT, Manuel and Burns for DE. Maybe try to flip Guidry or Oliver, or both because they can both play inside and outside. Willie Baker for DE.

Willie Baker isn't getting an offer. If we take another pure DE in that mold its Burns

The staff is trying to flip Oliver (even with the other DT's on our board). Lawrence, Gary, Taylor, and Blacklock are all high-profile DT's with interest in LSU. Of course, that's not including potential offers that we don't know about.
