It sure seems we are treated like the step child when it comes to espn, even in our best year 2011 it was all about tyrann mathieu and as soon as he was dismissed LSU became a thing of the past
so it was about the best playmaking player on the team... I mean outside of MM could you name other players on Oregon last year? ESPN has always pimped the best player on the best team. LSU doesn't get treated like a step child, just when a analyst says something negative people run here and start the "ESPN hates LSU" threads, when it is something positive it goes maybe 2/3 pages because everyone is like, "well yeah of course."

Listening to XM college sports radio today and the guys talking said what IMHO everyone is thinking. LSU could win the west and the SEC and make the playoffs. Or LSU could finish last or second to last in the west. Everyone sees the potential and the talent and if the QB and WRs get on the same page and execute this O correctly, it's a devastating loaded beat you up bully O. And the D will be better with coach O bringing the heat Chavis didn't. Special teams are solid. The FG/PA kicker will be a two man spot IMO and whichever one gets hot will take the primary role.

Arkansas and LSU are my dark horses to win the west. Mississippi State, some are predicting, will be 8-0 when they play Bama. I disagree, they will have lost to LSU and possibly aTm before facing Bama.

I choose to see my glass as half full and can't wait to see LSU ground and pound the hell out of the competition and climb to the top of the rankings going into the SECCG.
