Anyone ever had a dog that got a cut on his paw pad? Wondering if there's anything I could do at home other than Neosporin. Thanks

Time to put him down.

How deep is it?
They'll lick the neosporin right off and if they continue to lick it, it could become infected.
If its minor, just treat it topically. If its deep, go to a vet. They'll wrap it for a few days.
ETA:
Also, if its clean cut that isn't too bad, you can put hydrogen peroxide on it then pinch it together and seal it with a tiny amount of super glue. That glue will hold a couple days until it rubs off from normal wear and tear.
But that is the redneck fix

My bulldog almost cut one of her pads completely off.
It was flapping around and bleeding everywhere. She gave zero fricks...I am pretty sure she doesn't feel pain.
We brought her to the vet and got it stitched up.

Getting hit by a train would only provide a slight discomfort to a bulldog.

Yeah she has ripped out toenails and got scratched all up in the face by a cat and was covered in blood and gave zero fricks.
She is all white too so the blood really shows.

Ok thanks. I was wondering about the skin glue or the butterfly band aids. I have talked to the vet but was curious about what people have done at home to see if anything worked/helped.
