I saw that on twitter... interesting..
Not saying it will happen.. but to me that signing makes a lot more sense if we'd have qualified for UCL (for both parties)..
Personally, I think he gets a bad rap on this board... far from perfect, but one of the best in the world IMO...

Yeah it doesn't make much sense, but who knows. I saw a secretly filmed video where Ibra seriously (well it certainly seems like he's serious) asks Klopp to talk to his agent to arrange a move. Pretty awkward/hilarious as Klopp tries to be polite about it because he clearly doesn't want him at BVB. It's possible for players to take the step down for one reason or another, albeit incredibly rare and only in extraordinary circumstances.
That being said I just see no way this is true. It makes zero sense considering our needs and Klopp/Fenway's ethos. But you better believe id take Gonzo in a heartbeat.
