Because they are a Zionist invention.

Right, cause the U.S. has no vested interest in having a footprint in the Middle East, except to appease the American Jews and Christian Zionists
Blind support of Israel is not out of need for a footprint

Israel would release nukes quickly. Israel will not mess around if attacked the way ISIS is attacking others.

So many theories in this thread...

Their headquarters is very close to Israel, yet they don't seem to be focused on Israel at all...or at least we haven't heard about attempted attacks. The United States and Shiite Muslims seem to be their public enemy #1, but I thought Israel was the big bad boogeyman in that region for all Muslim sects
THIS is why I don't think you are smart enough to own a 4,000 sq ft house... You are as dumb as a bucket of snot............

Israel would love the opportunity to show the rest of the Middle East their capabilities by taking out the annoying a-hole at the party.
They're just waiting for the annoying a-hole to throw a cup at them.
I'd put my money on this and if/when it happens I hope this AH we have leading us will support them.

You do know that Israel has plenty of F-15's and F-16's along with some of the finest pilots in the world?
The reason Isis isn't fricking with Israel is quite simple. -- self preservation.

Amen, QT. I'd put my money on Israel in that fight, regardless.

Which is why you posed the question, right? Also, don't bump it if you can, see how it runs w/o you?

Do we maintain a military presence in Japan for the Shintos? It's nothing more than strategic defense. Same thing with Puerto Rico and Guam.

We have it, but I'm not sure what it would take for us to pull the gloves off against ISIS. I haven't been keeping up with the details, but ISIS still doesn't seem all that organized.
Israel on the other hand, would probably absolutely love to go bare knuckles against another middle eastern entity if they were given a half a reason to. I'd love to see Isis try to roll a tank through isreal's front gate.

Genro my double digit IQ friend, you make a valid point because beheading an American journalist that chose to go to a war torn country is nearly the same as invading another country.
You may also want to brush up on your knowledge of what is going on. Israeli people have also been beheaded.

link? I've seen three Ethiopian Christians who were deported by Israel, and one American journalist with dual citizenship.
That's not exactly the same thing.

Get someone to help you google "Steven Scotlof".
Then see if you can get that person to explain how killing someone on your own soil is not similar to an army invading another sovereign nation.
