Man my folks had a Shindaiwa blower and that thing was an absolute piece. I hated it. It had good power when it wanted to run, but you'd pull your damn shoulder out of socket trying to crank that thing.

Their stuff used to be mainly commercial, and it was pretty much all heavy. Now that I think of it, everything I have used of theirs was always hard to start
