Oh don't get me wrong, I'd trade him tomorrow if someone came with a good enough offer. I'm just saying there isn't a reason to move him right now unless it's a great deal. If we trade him, we're basically saying we're going to tank the rest of the year. So we should get prospects who are tank worthy.

Maybin is one of my favorite players but with his past history of injuries and inconsistencies I would not take my chances with regression. Go ahead and sell high and collect your assets.
He has played a pretty poor CF this year but other than that he has been pretty damn impressive. I don't think you could have ever dreamed when you took him on that you would be able to possibly get a valuable long term piece or two for him.
