I don't think the OPs question is that ridiculous. He should qualify it better with AD retiring a Pelican like Duncan is going to do with the Spurs or something along those lines. He's simply assuming that AD loves the city and wants to win a title for the city. AD's legacy to this city doing it himself would be completely different vs. doing it with another top 5-10 player. If AD were to retire a Pel, and we are choosing between 1 or 2 titles over a 5 year period only, I could easily see myself taking the 1. It just has such an "us against the world" feel to it. The emotion behind a Warriors-esque run vs. expecting to compete for a title with a loaded roster is completely different.
