It's a scary moment for the team.
No different than when they say "Scary moment for the Lions as Matthew Stafford was slow to get up."
Or
"Scary moment for the Pelicans as Anthony Davis comes down awkwardly."
It's said all the time about star players, not just baseball players.
As far as you essentially calling baseball players pussies. 162 games takes a toll on the body and little injuries can nag for a long time such as a hamstring, or broken bone in the foot or hand.
