Do you live under a rock? (Black) People have always found the Confederate flag offensive. It's only just now blowing up because of current events obviously.
I'm not one to try to control what someone else can or can't wear/have on their own property but to act as if the flag isn't closely linked to racism/prejudice is disingenuous at best.
Sorry but I just have a hard time disassociating it with people who, just within the past 50-60 years, used it as a symbol while subjugating and deriding an entire group of people.

They're not fricking stupid. They know what it symbolizes. Like I said there's other groups that have southern pride/heritage...they don't need a damn flag....There's a reason it became popular during the fight for Integration. Hmmmm.

So if somebody is born in DC and grew up a Redskins fan and has a Redskins logo on top of their car.... Are they racist? Do they hate Indians because some Indians and liberals find it offensive?
