My profile is private. I have about 200 "friends" and I even think that's too much. I share pics of my kid to my family and friends who are out of town and don't get to see him often. I would delete it otherwise.
If anyone of those 200 gets preachy and annoying, I "unsubscribe" and forget the even exist.

If my friends and I are talking about hot girls from high school or college, we'll look them up to see if they're still hot.
That is the extent of my facebook usage
