So, he isn't a 3 and D wing. Acting like the only value at the 3 position is 3 and D or rounded star is faulty.
Can you stop knighting Aminu for 2 seconds, there are more serious questions to be answered here. Is this a isolated overpay we see every year like Jodie Meeks, or is this a devaluing of the MLE now that the cap is rising and it's been decoupled from the cap? You typically have to be a starting caliber player to get more than the MLE. Aminu's improvement last year came playing a bench role.

That is the question. To me, I think it's a little bit of both Meeks overpay and devaluing of the MLE. Portland is in a bad spot.

Dude, settle down. I'm not knighting for Aminu. I responded directly to a statement you made that had NOTHING to do with value of the MLE. You're the one digressing.
Yes, the MLE is absolutely devalued with regard to the cap. There is no disputing that at all. The MLE is really only going to be useful bringing in 8th or 9th chair players now, unless you have an extremely unbalanced roster.
ETA - How many actual "3 and D" SFs are there in the NBA now?
