He obviously doesn't literally say that, but my point is that in the end that's where he winds up. "I can't condone or support same sex marriage becuz BIBLE".
There is no intelligent defense for not supporting gay marriage unless it's a legal argument. All moral or religious arguments are destined to failure because of the inherent inconsistencies in either your own life or within the holy book that you're basing your beliefs/feelings on. I guess this exposes my own biases though so for that I'm as guilty as well.
