I don't understand that mentality. Why hire a coach then hire a GM that is a polar opposite? Oh wait I forgot Shinn was still running the clusterf**k of an organization then.

Umm....the franchise was a rudderless ship when Monty and Demps were hired. I'm sure San Antonio Model played a role in Demps being hired, but Monty clearly vouched for his friend. Monty helped hire the guy that would get him fired.
