Another point, LAD, Cubs, and Boston seem to be the best fits as trade partners for Hamels.
Philly's best trade chip with Hamels is being able to pay some of the contract. They want to buy top prospects.
None of those 3 teams really care about or need the money.

When you start weeding out small market teams and teams lacking top end prospects, you're only left w a few teams imo
Baez isn't Corey seager, but if you sweeten the pot with 2 other top 100 guys, you could be working with something
You see what we got for Samardjiza and then what TB got for price (lol)..granted they are slightly different circumstances, so It's really hard to call. It only takes 1 GM to like a guy though. Amaro is all over the place so who knows what that guy wants to do. The fact that a deal hasn't been done tells me he's asking too much
