re: Opened containers of cream cheese & sour cream in your fridge?

If it smells or looks funny then toss it. Otherwise, it's fair game in my kitchen. I've held on to cream cheese re-wrapped and in a zip-lock for quit a while. We usually eat the sour cream well in advance of the expiration date.
