Check out the Champions area near 1960 and 249, has a northshore feel to it. I find Katy and places without tons of trees bleak and depressing, not to mention the awful commute.

This is the area I'm in and everything you will need is within 15 minutes. Check out glen loch farms and the surrounding neighborhoods off of louetta and spring cypress.
