re: Vacation Ideas w/ 1 year old

We've never had a problem leaving him. I'd say we've reached those milestones before most parents. At 2 months he spent 2 nights with the in-laws while we were at a wedding and has done it multiple times since. We moved when he was 3 months, and I worked 6 hours away for those 1st 3 months, so I was away for nights at a time regularly. I've just never had to say "hey, you take care of the little turd factory while I go enjoy myself for 7 days". I know a vacation is supposed to be about me, but it just seems odd as we haven't done anything like that. We've done it when it was needed, not just for our own personal enjoyment.
