Would be a nice defensive piece in the back court, but he'd be no more than the 4th guard for us. When Monty was coach, Greivis Vasquez was very much that energetic overachieving player for us and it was great. I don't think we have that right now, but I doubt Dellavedova is going to be worth however much a team pays for him. Those guys are best found on your own before you have to pay them.

There's no room on the roster for him even if the pels were interested.

No. I am not saying that you pay for HIM. I get that his value is situational and would likely not transfer into other settings. I am just wondering about a player LIKE Dellavedova that you could find cheap who could come in and play with that kind of energy. He will come back down to earth and be like Jeremy Lin or something. But, it would have been nice to have a player like that this year, I think.
