quote:Yeh I just looked it up. 9 out of 10 women in the top 10 rankings average right at 255 yards. So the boys would be about 50 yards further off the tee than the competition. I am leaning to say they would dominate the tour if they played from ladies tees. Their approach shots would be hit with wedged compared to 6 and 7 irons
And only one of them is in the top 70 in rankings. (#10)

Yeah that changes things a little, but I still think the top 10 women and top 10 HS men would be competitive with each other from ladies tees. I don't think the guys would hit driver very much as it would bring unnecessary risk for a short course.
Men's tees and it wouldn't be fair.

Only ~20 golfers on the PGA average over 300 yards per drive with Dustin Johnson leading at 317. But sure high schools kids are all driving 300 yards+. Hell David Toms averages 270. You telling me the kids are gonna smoke David Toms because they will supposedly outdrive him. Nope.

50 yard is pretty big stretch in my opinion. Only 17 pros average that far off the box. None of which are in the top 50 in driving accuracy.
Stop listening to your baw who says he mashes 300+ off the tea all the time, it just doesn't happen for regular golfers with any kind of consistency.
