Yeah, I feel ya. I love Sazeracs and have never been, so it's a novelty choice. Appreciated, tho. Thanks for the reservation advice, didn't know they filled up so quickly!

It's just not the same to me since the Roosevelt was redone. Looks much like a lobby bar and most quality places make a good sazerac. The Polo Club does (it's the first drink listed on their specialty list) and has the live jazz entertainment that's always good. Serves small plates including dessert. Good ones. Cozy couch,cocktails, dessert, jazz, good atmosphere. However, you should check what you want off your bucket list! I hope you'll report back on food and drink after your trip.
