Kid was a stud recruit...I wonder if we make a push for him.
I was intrigued by this kid before #JenningsWinning went and got arrested. Now this could get interesting if we decide to contact him...would he have to sit a year or nah?

Since Martin is headed to JUCO, we do have an extra spot. At worst it's quality depth and a backup plan if Jennings or Harris decide to transfer for any reason after this season.
Wonder if we will even attempt to pursue. Richt probably figured the third guy would leave, so he went after Lambert

I think this would set our future up very nicely if we could get him or another top QB in the program now. We need quality depth. Furthermore, this is the SEC - studying for 2 years is more of a pre-req than saying you can't cut it. Here's to hoping...

Definitely down for this. We need the depth and have a spot. DO IT, LES!

I'm not saying he's a take, but you definitely have to kick the tires. The worst thing you can do is not look at all, and in a year he's blown up and we say "damn, we could have had him".

Biggest question is, would Georgia/the SEC allow him to transfer to another SEC school, and be eligible immediately?

We should absolutely pursue! Beggers cannot be choosers right now and we have no idea what will happen with Jennings at this point and McMillian is clearly not able to step in yet if something happens with Harris

The first question is why is he leaving and if he was third on the depth chart, then what is the reason?
That said, I'd have no problem with LSU taking a former UGA QB. Unlike Miles, Richt at least knows what he want's to do on offense and recruits his QBs accordingly. UGA wants to run a more "pro style" type of offense. Therefore they go out and scour the country looking for the best QBs that fit what they want to do (Shockley is really the only exception the Richt tenure).
On the other hand, Miles seemingly wants to run more of a traditional pro-style offense (QB under-center; I-formation, TEs tight to the line), but brings in guys who don't seem to fit that mold (Harris/Jennings/McMillan). All were more "spread" guys in HS. At LSU they're trying to be forced into doing something (a) they're not accustomed to and (b) may not utilize their skill sets to its highest potential.
If taking UGA's "cast offs" is the way to get good QBs who fit what you really want to do on offense, then do it!
