CWS GA question

First time going to CWS. In the past has the GA section filled up. What time do I need to get inline it make sure I get in

When I went in the late 90's, the gates opened an hour and a half before the game and we got in line an hour and a half before that.
But, we wanted front rose left field and we got it every time.

been 4 times all GA. but i was always first in line becuase i wanted to sit in the first row. last time LSU played the late game and i was in line before the first game people. i had beverages and had a good time, big line. Atmosphere around new staduim sucks compared to the BLATT. You will probably have to be in line some time. wouldn't chance getting there late.

At least an hour before the game starts if you want to guarantee a seat. At TD ameritrade I've seen the line wrapped around the stadium 3 hours before first pitch for a big game.

Very early for opening weekend. Really early. Everyone in town is there. After that it's not as bad.

get in line, go meet the lady working the gate. bring mardi gras beads to her. she will more than likely let you in to use the bathroom when you need to. helps when your drinking beverages while waiting.

another thing, only 1 line will be formed by the right field gate. once they give the go ahead and allowing in, you will then have the choice for left field. most people don't realize this. they then walk you another 50 yards to the real gate for left field. at that point you will wait another 30-60mins. this is stuff you remember in line for 7 hours. my choice.
