guys going pro early, the talent availabe at various positions (some times more at a position, some times less) guys leave the program for other reasons, don't pan out are all factors.

Lawrence just got another CB to LSU today. Taylor has gotten 2 CBs to LSU in the past few days. It seems like the dominoes are falling faster now.
