I mean, Jon and company on that boat were like 25 feet from the docks. A well-times WW jump could've damn near gotten to them. But instead, they all just stood on the shore like "Oh HAI!!" while Jon's boat trickled away.

Yeah, it'd be lame if it turns out they could swim. I was expecting the king WW to start freezing the water when he put his arms out

It might be getting too technical, but I am pretty sure I saw the dead killing the wildlings in knee deep water. So they can at least get wet. I agree, though, they better not be able to swim with how close the boat was to them.
