I thought it was a wolf so I didn't look much further. But your right I did some more looking and its a 6 spotted fishing spider "Dolomedes triton" eat insects as well as small fish and frogs...I like the fish and frogs in my pond more then this 8 legged beast....he gone...altho I may just relocate rather than flame thrower.
