So do lots of players, doesn't make you HOF worthy. NFL HOF has turned into the Hall of Above Average. would rather NBA kept some sort of standard like MLB still does.

NBA has the lowest standards of them all. And winning a championship has always given you a big boost. Usually propels fringe guys.

NBA champion (2004)
NBA Finals MVP (2004)
5× NBA All-Star (2006–2010)
All-NBA Second Team (2006)
2× All-NBA Third Team (2007, 2009)
2× NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2005–2006)

As the leader of a team that made the EC finals for 6 years in a row. I think he has a decent, but not great chance.

Well its the basketball HOF, not the NBA HOF. A lot of times, fringe NBA guys with great college or Olympic accolades can get in.
