E7 is when the stupidity really ramps up. Most of the smart guys are gone or commissioned in 10 years. For the majority of E7's (in the Army at least), it's a 'thanks for hanging around for 15 years' rank. That's when you start thinking that color coordinating sandbags is a brilliant idea.

Well i didnt say they were smart but they are usually smart enough to be able to know whats going on. Bottomline is most enlisted no matter rank have a high chance kf being dumb as shite.
