Once you clean your skin and clothes with soap and water it is no longer contagious , even the seeping blisters are not contagious . Steroids are your best bet, injection, oral and or topical

That's great to hear. I've always heard conflicting information as to when it's no longer able to spread. Just trying to make sure my boy doesn't get it.

This!!! It's not contagious from the rash/blisters. Once you have washed the oil from the plant off of you and anything on contact with the oil, it not transmittable.

For the love of sanity, I wish someone would make a PSA about this. It's amazing how many people (damn near everybody) don't know this

I always tell my patients this and to tell as many people as they know....including teachers and school nurses
