Whoops, reading his LSU bio,never actually went to michigan. As I recall, he sure thought long and hard about it though. This old timer does forget things, sometimes. . .

He was considering Michigan because his college DC at the time, Terry Joseph, was offered the DB coach job at Michigan and had all intent of going there. Joseph was then offered I believe the DC position at La tech and took that instead. LSU was always Jai's first choice, but he was going to go to Michigan if his coach went there.
