walk the high line
hidden subway station at city hall
take time to enjoy some of the subway performers.
listen to the choir at trinity church at broadway and wall.
if you're with your wife/gf, take her to the whispering gallery at grand central.
get a plate from the halal guys at 53rd and 6th.
can't beat it for $6.
if you happen to run across a street fair on a Saturday, eat from one of the vendor tents. the foods are delicious.
if you go to central park, stop by the Dakota- where lennon was gunned down.
be certain that you plan your days out before getting there. become as familiar with subway system as best you can. time will really fly by.
if you get confused or lost, much of your day could be gone before you get back on track.
