So far all I've come up with is going to Natchez and staying in a bed and breakfast and taking tours of the antebellum homes there. A friend of mine did this once and they said it was a great weekend getaway together

we did this for a weekend getaway. Stayed in a B&B viewed four plantation tours, took a carriage ride (very enjoyable and informative), tried local restaraunts. (had best meals at Cotton Alley Cafe and Magnolia Grill, Delta Tamales at Fat Mamas too.) The city has a lot of great antique stores with really good prices. If you have never been and just want peace and quiet and a little History it's a great place.

For my last "babymoon" we went to NOLA and did a foodie trip. That was fun. Natchez is lovely, I love touring the homes. Stay at Monmouth.
