All they're doing is is keeping the heat off their player(s). Nobody wants to be known as a guy that was in on his coach getting fired. Doesn't mean AD was happy about it, but he was aware
All of this. Saying Davis knew about it beforehand is a lose/lose. He is assumed to endorse it or disagree with it at that point. Neither of which makes AD/franchise look good.
