I'm glad to hear this. I have it in my list to watch, but haven't yet. I liked the first 4 novels I read, and was hoping the series wouldn't suck.

I enjoyed it, and am re-reading the bosch series in order as it had been 15+ years since I had read the first book.
My biggest complaint about the series was the interpretation of bosch. I think they got his personality, but in the books he has a mustache and in the show he doesn't. Also in the books, he has more of a slender frame and frumpy look.
But those are minor quibbles. They were also a bit off edgar but it was close enough. I hope Kiz has a bigger role in season 2.
