Apple's prices are inflated for the product. The 6+ is the first iPhonehone I would actually consider buying.

If outside manufacturers could use Apple's OS, than there would be the same issue with saturation in the market and price point.

The high end Android phones are just flat better than iPhones. I would take an S5, S6, Nexus 6, Xperia Zv3, Motorola Turbo, and Note 4, all over the IPhone 6. Half of those over the 6+ as well. Especially with them all running Android 5.1.

Edit: On subject my current phone is the HTC Droid DNA. It's been ok, I received a new one from insurance last week. So despite having an upgrade available, i am waiting for the price to drop on the Google Nexus 6. I want that 6" screen, and the barebones Android OS.
