Why? It's not like you have to talk (or even listen if you just mute them), also every big shooter has voice/type chat or the option to create a party so in 2015 it's a missing feature. This is a game I would like to play with friends from out of town, being able to speak with them is a big deal. Gaming is basically the only time I have to catch up with them. Also in a game like this with a low player count information and coordination are key, speaking to your teammates can only help that. I know it's just a demo but two basic responses from the d-pad just isn't going to cut it.
