If you want respect and to never question whether you have made a difference in the world, join the Marines. Been in 8 years and cannot describe the feeling I get everyday putting on this uniform. Other perks: our uniform looks the best, you will be in the best shape of your life (a lot better shape than the other branches), and you will never have felt so confident in yourself and what you are capable of.
