The Line of Demarcation didn't run through what is now the United States. It ran through South America up through Greenland and divided the heathen lands between Spain and Portugal.
Unless you're just referring to a dividing line or boundary... in which case why in the hell would politics cause us to divide our own country? What political purpose does that serve?
From reading your posts it seems like you believe someone (demons?) divided the country in half, kept the lights turned off, and is using this to drive up the cost of water. Do I have that all correct?
