Saturday was probably the most crowded I have seen it. On par with that DMB in 2001. I maneuvered it pretty well though, started with Missippi Rail on Acura, then Chris Stapleton and Marc Broussard right in front of the sound stage at Gentilly. Then took the track to Acura catching some Kermit on the way at Congo. Note- the track was almost full at this point. If I would have gone any later I probably would not have been able to make it though. But took the track all the way to the right of Acura, and walked right up to a spot in front of the chairs for Jerry Lee Lewis and stayed for Elton. Had a group of 8 of us. No problems. Yesterday i brought chairs and posted up at Acura early though since the lineup was great.

I made sure to get a spot when Davell Crawford started playing. I was probably 50 ft from the stage with no one behind me. By the time Jerry Lee Lewis started they showed an over head shot and there was probably 30,000 people. Then wen Elton came on it was estimated there were 60,000 around the acura tent. My wife and I left an hr before he ended and it tool us nearly 30 min to make it through the crowds. It was fricking insane.
