Weird, I had an awesome time on Saturday and was posted in front of the Acura stage all day. Beer lines were the longest, but each person in my group took turns going and buying a case to lessen the trips. Bathroom lines were nonexistent so long as you didn't try for the first 5 on each side. I walked past lines of idiots just to get a wide open port-o-let 50 feet farther down.

We do the same. Last year at Springsteen and this year at the Who and No Doubt we were right in front at the barricades. All of the above applied.

Yea Saturday was slammed, but we set up in front of Acura and had a blast. You mus be one of the retards standing in line at the first porta poty when there is an open one 5 down. Beer lines weren't too bad IMO.

I wasn't about to do this and I'd expect Elton to be ridiculous, but that was something else. I walked around the edge of the crowd just to see what it was like.

I would rather see the smaller acts, but even those were absolutely crammed. You shouldn't have to get to one of the smaller stages 2 hours early IMO.

I much prefer festivals where I can walk around easily to all the stages and enjoy all types of environments and music.

I learned my lesson. I'll never go back to another Saturday at Jazzfest.
