There are a shite ton of things husbands "have" to do to make good with their wives that totally suck...going antiquing, shopping for furniture, going to the in-laws, etc. You may not like the act, but it's a chance to go hear live music and get drunk. Just go and quit complaining about it.

This right there. There are A LOT worse things your wife could be wanting you to do rather than go to a concert.
