Mrs. Fat Man has very different taste in music and venues than I do. There was a time when I had your attitude. No longer. If this is what I can do to make her happy, then I sit through shows.

Relationships spiral up (in a good way) or they spiral down ( in a bad way). Go to the show, be pleasant and do so with no strings attached (no quid pro quo). Do little things for her without being asked and do things for her she knows you really do not want to do. And the result is she should reciprocate (eventually) without being asked.

Or, you can be the epitome of selfish.
