I think he's the one. Remember their age and they are maturing daily. He seemed poised to be able to hold on longer and was bred for it.

Unless someone shows me a reason another horse is better, there's no reason to believe he'll lose (other than historical stats, lol)

It's not that he doesn't have the talent.
It's that 3 races in such short order is tough.
Plus, this crop of 3-yo's is super legit.

I wouldn't say he is bred for it although he does have stamina influences in his pedigree. The biggest issue will be can he recover for the Preakness, which could well be another humdinger of a race, and then face to fresh rivals- Mubtahij and Materiality and possibly Keen Ice who actually are better bred for stamina, the first two also having the right style.

Personally, I think he will lose the Preakness. He was a tired boy in a picture I saw post race walking back with his head down.
