The day I pay $100 to watch two guys fight that could have been riding in the Ky Derby earlier that day is the day I check myself into an asylum.

First of all, I doubt any individual paid $100. Most (like me) paid a fraction by splitting with friends.
Secondly, the point is to make money, right? And they did that AWESOMLY last night. But I suspect the majority of casual fans that wanted to get into it and bought this fight (like me) were disappointed and won't be paying money in the future because of this fight. That means less money coming in for future events.
