All of this. He obviously didn't want to die, but don't doubt for one second he wouldn't have tried roughing himself up a bit to get a police brutality case.

This thread is astounding. Y'all are actually discussing the possibility that the man killed himself by severing his own spinal cord. :smh:
The police can't treat human beings like cattle. They simply can't do what they did whether the guy died or not. The man was detained, restrained, and subjected to some strange torture for no reason whatsoever. I'm sure they didn't mean to kill him but (a) they did and (b) that is almost besides the point.
